Default CD player question

I have an eclipse cd player that came with my car when i bought it used. It works fine but it wont play CD-RWs is this just cause the cd players old and apparently CD-RWs give a lower signal or what. It annoys me a little bit.

Thanks

Could be, just buy a new headunit. You'll be happy.

EDIT** I have not purchased these myself, therefore cannot verify the quality, but I am just showing you that cd-rs are not that expensive.
