Amp power

i have a lightning audio 2 channel 400w amp and i have everything hooked up right but the protect light on the amp just blinks and the power light is off anyone know how to fix this?

if the power light is off then it isnt hooked up correctly lol. id try checking your remote wire, usually a little blue one. it goes from ur amp to behind the cd player, or you can cut a peice of 3 inch wire, strip each end, put one end into the rem slot, other into 12v slot (on the amp) and it should work.. but it will kill your battery, so put a toggle switch in the wire somwhere..
