Hey when i bought my mustang the stereo and the factory speakers were all missing. Behind were the stereo sits there is a small aluminum like box i havent looked into it yet but im doing my stereo in a few weeks is that a factory amp? Just curious if you know about this because my Haynes repair manual does not show anything at all for audio wiring and the wiring was butchered from the previous owner. If Its a amp i will probably use it at least for the front speakers.

it is a factory amp and it is junk.. if you install a aftermarket deck you have to take out that factory amp. check ebay low watt amp goes for like 50$ and speakers you can get dash doors and rear for under 100 total

get boston accuestics (yeah i miss spelled it) for your dash....thay are the best $80 bucks...the door's are 6yr old infinities still jam too
eclipses are in the back.......i made a custom box to fit my hatch i'm using three eights,just need an amp.
