foam on speakers
do you guys know if you can replace the foam that connects the cone to the outer piece? i just got some 8in subs from my uncle, and i was wondering if that is fixable or would it be so much work that i would be better off getting new ones
yes you can buy a foam kit with glue from this site it will be better to call first with your woofer information

Between the price and actually re-doing the cone. It may be worth it to just buy some speakers. If they are MTX, and they aren't some high end component mids, and they are just some coaxials. Save the time and just buy some new ones. Unless of course your doing it for the learning experience, then... Do it! It never hurts to pick up a skill like replacing the surround on a speaker, afterall if you work in an audio shop and fix a girls speaker, she could just end up your fiance in a short time.Exactly what happened to me.
