I went and got an aftermarket head unit that let me connect the IPOD directly to the AUX input jack. There might be other ways but I just found that to be easy since I wanted to get rid of the stock stereo anyway.

there are a few ipod interfaces but it all depends on the audio system that you have in that vehicle

Aux in is the best way to go, FM transmitter 2nd, tape deck 3rd.

If you get a FM tran.make sure it also charges the ipod saves you some cables.

aux in is not the best option. yes the sound is better than transmitter but you still have to press play/stop/ff/rr on your ipod.
i have a pionier HU and it comes with an adapter. So, i can control my ipod through the HU. i don't even have to touch the ipod. i'll take some pic and post them up.
