2000 Mustang Ipod install
Looking for options on how to hardwire install an ipod in my girlfriends car. Its a 2000 mustang coupe V6. She has an FM transmitter, but isnt a fan of the sound quiality. Any help is appreciated.
I went and got an aftermarket head unit that let me connect the IPOD directly to the AUX input jack. There might be other ways but I just found that to be easy since I wanted to get rid of the stock stereo anyway.
I think this one will work for you, he can't use it make him an offer........

If you get a FM tran.make sure it also charges the ipod saves you some cables.
aux in is not the best option. yes the sound is better than transmitter but you still have to press play/stop/ff/rr on your ipod.
i have a pionier HU and it comes with an adapter. So, i can control my ipod through the HU. i don't even have to touch the ipod. i'll take some pic and post them up.
