Mach 460 Aftermarket Headunit
I have a 2000 mustang and it has the mach 460 audio system.
I want to put in a different headunit, I know I need something like the Scosche FD03B but what other harness do I need? The FD03B only does the RCA outputs to the stock amp.
The stock unit is split into two different sections. One has my CD player and the other has a tape player, what type of install kit would I use for this set up. The one I was looking at walmart has a one piece, but I need a two piece.

I found the harness I need, but I still don't know what dash install kit I need.

I've been looking and I can only find two install kits and one that will work

The problem with this install kit is that I have a two section head unit stock. The first one like I said in my first post that the top is a tape player and the second is a CD player, I need to have both sections removed and I need an install kit that will make a empty panel where one of the sections was.
Thanks!

if you have the split dash(tape on top, cd on bottom) you don't need a kit. The decks cage will slide inplace and you can get a universal din pocket to fill the other space.
What kind of deck did you get, and does it have subwoofer outputs?

ttocs are you sure about that? most kits that take up the double din setup have a space that becomes just a little spot to like put CD's and you need that kit. I dont know of any head units that fit the stock bracket

The Sony headunit will take the place of the tape deck on the top and then this.. http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...50&tp=1114..will take the place of the cd player on the bottom. And then to connect the factory wires to the Sony headunit you need these.. http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...002&tp=736
