I have a '94 gt vert with the factory wiring and door speakers,the rears are kenwood 6x8.I have heard if you have 6x8 rears then you have a non-mach system,and if you have 5 1/2 rears you have a mach 460. Is this true? And if I do have a mach 460 system,where's the amp I keep hearing about that would cause me to have signal problems?

 

On the vert, the rear amps would be located under/behind the rear seats




The front amp is located just behind the CD deck on the floor just in front of the shifter.... Same location for non Mach systems too. And it took me a bit to figure out how to wire my after market cd player in and after I figured it ou, I felt like an idiot. Just unplug the damn thing, lol I didnt think they had amps without the mach system. I was wrong.






The Mach 460 system has the 5.5x7.5 rear speakers..... and one sure thing is the liittle tweeter located on the door that covers the bolts for the side mirrors..




I could be wronge so if I am by all means someone correct me..... Just tid bits Ipicked up on the web.......
