i want to wire up some lights under my dash ( showing on the pedals etc) whats the best place to wire into. i dont want to have wires coming out my cig lighter i thought about wiring up to my lighter behind the dash, but its constantly on so cant do that. is there any way to wire it to my light switch to come on when i turn on my running lights ?

 

take your radio out and connect the pos side to the dimmer wire(orange if you have an aftermarket hrns) that connect to the radio and then ground the other side. If you are using anything more then LED's then you will need to consider relay and fuses ect.
