Default New Pyle DVD **UPDATED w/PIC**

Just got me a new Pyle DVD player and I wanted to install it in my 91 Fox. When I bought it, it didn't have a radio or anything. Just a big empty hole. So I got me a new DVD player. I want to install it myself, but I've never done it before. Is it easy to do? I thought it was a matter of just matching wire colors, but the previous owner must have had a set up or something in there cause all of the wires are clear plastic! Would you still recommend that I install it, or get it "professionally" installed? Anyone have a guide or a site for how to?

In that case I would prob. get it done by a pro. And ask them if they can change those wires for you, but it could be a after market harness and you might just need to get a new one.

I think you're right in that it's an aftermarket wire harness. The new dvd came with it's own harness, so should i just start disconnecting wires?

can you get me a pic of the dash? Is there an amp under the radio location that looks like an octagonal POS with a bunch of holes in it? If they have ran wire for you it will not be too hard to figure stuff out if you know how to use a voltmeter or test light, and a AA battery........

Here is an article from another site I frequent that explains stuff. it is not too bad, we could get you through it.

Ok, I pulled all the wires from under the dash (that i think goes for the radio). See the pic below.

Is this it? This is the only thing under the dash (behind where the radio is suppose to go).
