Default New headunit questions

Ok so i have the shaker 500 system in my car, and want to replace the headunit with another that supports bluetooth.

I was looking at getting this headunit

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...EH-P690UB.html

along with

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+SIR-PNR2.htmland

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...CD-BTB200.html

Now i need to know if i actually need that sirius tuner. I have the antenna and all already installed and hooked up to my shaker 500 system as my car came with 6 months of free sirius satellite radio. So do i need that kit to be able to use sirius on my new headunit?

Also i have the shaker 500 and read that for the door subs that ford uses like a 4-5v turn on vs a normal 12v turn on lead. Well that tutorial is written for the Avic-D3. Will i also need to install the 5v regulator thing, so my speakers won't make that popping noise or is that only for the Avic-D3?

you will need the sirius unit, and then you will probably have to pay for a subscription on the new one since the free crap is only for the factory equipment, sucks huh.....

all decks will make the factory speakers pop and can use the tutorial, same wires and all.

Are you serious that the sirius subscription is for the stock stereo stuff only? If so screw that crap. I was simply gonna pick up that to use up the rest of my 6 months for free. I in all honesty think i have listened to sirius like a total of 4 times. I mean it's nice to have when i want it, but the simple fact is i just prefer to listen to my cd's with my music that i like.

yeah im looking at picking up a Avic-D3 for the right price. Cartronix has it for $548. Best Buy and Circuit City in my town both have it on sale for $700 and i could get the $200 mail in rebate. Unfortunatly all 3 places are sold out right now, so if i can't pick it up for $550ish soon, i think im gonna go with the DEH-P980BT. Super sleek single din headunit with bluetooth built in and all, tons of equalization options and other tuning options, and it has a nice color screen as well.

However i would like the look of the D3 being a double din better, and it also includes navigation as well. So yeah those are my 2 choices for headunits right now. Hopefully i can manage to geta Avic-D3 for the price i want, but if noone seems to have it in stock after about a week or so i'm just gonna get the DEH-P980BT.
