RE: what are...
haha yeah. i got hooked on major bass with a couple of my friends, who are running kicker 1500.1's one has 4 10" JL W3's and the other has 2 kicker L7 12". i just wanna mix it up with 3 speakers, i have yet to see a system with 3, and it should fit perfect in the car. i figure i can get the best of both worlds with the 3 speaker setup. the 12 for the deep stuff and 10's to catch the higher bass and get more response.

RE: what are...
they tend to be a little power hungry in my book, both the speakers and their amps.
I just got my system playin, it is in my cardomain page. I ran 4 - 8" quart subs off a diamond audio amp, and another amp for diamond audio hex 3 ways up front. I am goingmore for SQ the bass but it is probably just short of 140dbs, but it is clean as hell at 140.............

RE: what are...
what do you mean power hungry? like thyre overrated? all the birthsheet stuff ive seen has been overrated like 1250 watts rmson a 1000 watt rmsamp. idk. ive enjoyed my stuff, so im stickin with them. plus the suqare subs look sick in my custom box where the back seat should be.
so how many watts should net me 140 dbs? what if im shooting for more? any general guidelines for how many dbs per watts?

RE: what are...
same. i havent had anything bad happen with them and i have had any of my freinds had anything bad happen with them. so i dont get it. one of my friends is sponsored for competition and uses their stuff. idk. reading this forum is the only time ive heard anyone say anything bad about them. the only thing ive ever heard outside hereis "jl is better".
