You can do that no problem.

Couple things you can do though.

Easiest, coax mount them and disconnect your Mach pod tweeter. I would mount the crossover behind your kick panel.

Better, mount your tweeter and mid where you should, just sticnks running wire through door grommets and the door itself. Crossover same place as ^^^.

Best, Same as ^^^ but don't connect it to the factory wiring which supplies power from the 460 amps, get a small 2 channel and power the component system with the amp instead of the factory 460 amp. Just alot more wiring, more like an afternoon job than a 45 minute job. And you need another amp.

What you gonna do with your EHQS 12's?? Might buy em if your price is right

Do i need an LOC if i go the "best" route? And wouldn't it be best if i mount the tweeter right above the mid? I think there is just enough room for me to cut a hole in my door panel and stick it in there. What do you think?

WELL, the story on the EHQS 12's (I'm bored....) I built a monster HT box for them (a little over 6 cubes, tuned to 31 hz) and after some debating and reading and researching and what not, I sold/traded my entire HT setup and now have a 19Ov.2 on the way for my HT sub use and i'm going to build two towers, each housing two 8" dayton woofers and a 1-1/8" dayton tweeter. The 12's are all i have left and they are mint, seriously like 20 minutes of use. They are awesome cheap woofers. What are you thinking? I would like to get back what i paid forthem (i got them during their super sale, $27 for the both of them...) sooooo...... what do you think? $50 shipped?

Not if you have an aftermarket deck. If you have a factorydeck I would just coax mount it all.

If you were going the aftermarket amp and everything, ideally you want the tweeter mounted as close as possible and if you can angle mount the mid, because bass is more directional than mids and highs, it's all down to taste. And how much customization you have on tap, if you have a deck where you can do millisecond time delay helps.

You want $23 to ship those?

I was thinking it would be like $10 to ship them. Maybe you could get a quote to 52803? I have no problem paying you for the amount you have into them. Did you have them in a jumbo super heavy box too? or...?
