Default Subs for 2005+

I want to put the infinity Basslink 10" sub. What size of subs are you 2005+ guys putting in. Is 10" big enough as it will be in the trunk.

I had a basslink before, it was alright. Actually, i'm a big bass guy so I don't think that would've been enough. I returned it, and ordered the Scosche sub/box, powered with the Profile 1000W amp. Now that's hitting harder for sure.

infinity isnt designed for heavy bass, its designed for clairaty... if thats what you want go for it, if hard hitting bass is what your look for you should look at memphis, rockford fosgate, kicker, etc. As for the size, in the world of subwoofers, less of larger = better, for example, one 12" sub, better than two 10" subs, one 15" sub, better than two 12" subs, this has to do with the greater distortion you have hooking up multiple speakers rather than just one. As for the mustang specifically, one 12 will do nicely if paired with the right amp, however, many prefab boxes come with 2 sub holes, so two tens, or two 12's will be ok, just make sure you have a good enough amp.
