i have hids on my s197 and when i turn my engine on they start flashing, when i connected the hids to the "high beam" portion of the light harness the lights are fine. anyone know how to fix this with a relay, and exactly what do i need to do.

 

Got any links to what HID's you got? Might help us figure out what you problem might be.

 

The only time I have ever had HID's flash is when a ballast is messed up. But I wouldn't think that would be the case if you connect it to the high beams and it works fine. Are you using any type of harness? I agree that knowing what kit you bought would be helpful
