There are a couple of manf that make a matched 3-way set with a 7-8" driver but they are a high end system(diamond D9, focal, and dyn audio come to mind) that will cost big $$$ but then again if you are planning on spending that much on sound damping then maybe you should check them out.

DLS Iridium is great equipment. Some of the best I've heard. Diamond D9 and Dyn would also get my vote.

Have to agree with everyone here. I am using a Memphis 8" sycs right now. I was going to get a ID component set but have changed my mind and going with Memphis 5.25 since I already have the 8 in there now. I am going to keep my ID Max.
