Default Mach door tweeters install

I had the stock audio system a year ago, I replaced all with a dvd/tv/usb/sd card reader, amp, subs, speakersand re-wired all...

when trying to install door tweeters, I realized that Mach systems came with so i got a pair of tweeters from ebay. but while installing I found the door covers will not fit so I need to cut them... do you guys know how much to cut or have any layout??? anyways I'll try to fit while cutting.

it is more then just a cut, it is a different shape on top. It will be difficult to try and make your panels look good with the covering that is on the panel in that section. It will be more pain then it is worth to be honest because while the sail panels raise the soundstage, it can also ruin the soundstage if it is not done right. The drives tweet becomes the closest speaker to you and pulls everything over there.

What are you powering them with? It will really be either lot of money for new panels, or alot of work to make it look good for factory speakers.

well first of all I got both tweeters (speakers)including their whole base (not just the lil speakers), so at the door, after removing the lil plastic triangle and fitting the mach speaker's panel I realized that the door panel will not fit so a small cut will make the job or that's what I think. that was the reason about this thread, to hear what do you think about.

btw, the wires are both set already. I ran 'em from the head unit (I had the 2 front speakersoutputs free)

they should be hooked up to their own output from the deck. You will have to run wire through the boot, into the car and the deck. If you hooked it up the same speaker wire that powers the 5 x7 you will notice your deck will start to run hotter, and will probably shut off or at least it will hopefull shut off before it melts.......
