Help Me Build My System
Ok so for the Head Unit. I am going to go with the pioneer avic d3 or the Z1. I will basically make that decision once I see the price of the speakers.
What I need help with is the speakers/amps/subs. I am going to be ordering all the stuff online. My budget for the speakers is 1000. I am looking for a very clear loud sound. I am looking for great quality over bass. Help????
How much would a Boston Acoustics system cost??
I am gonig to have the installion done at a local shop.
2008 Mustang GT by the way. Factory system
Thanks Guys
Alex
P.S. Is Dynamat worth it??

What is Your budgetfor the amps/ subs?
Boston acoustic is pricey but nice.
With a thousand dollar limit on speakers, and I must assume the amp to power the speakers, alone; Then You could have an incredibly nice system.

Very, I repeat VERY dependent on the individual's personal preference.
There is no correct answer to this.
There are a lot of good speaker sets out there but all for different reasons, and they all shine in different ways.
Focal, DLS, Dynaudio, Morel, Boston Acoustic, Rainbow, Alpine F1.
Remember install trumps equipment every day of the week.
By just saying I want "good" or "quality" sound won't cut it. Be specific such as 'rich and lively sound' or 'smooth and subtle'.

Then here is what You do.
Go to Your local audio shop.
Ask to hear any of the brands I suggested above.
And chose which one You like the most.
No one can tell You the perfect brand for You but Yourself.
Get out and listen.
If You go to the audio shop, get some ideas, and come back and tell us what You liked the best.
And we can go from there.

Follow Hiss advice. The reason for it everyone has a different sound of what they like and you might not like any of those suggestions that Hiss gave you.

definetly get the pioneer avid d3 system. It is a nice nav unit and u can actually play around quite well with the sound settings once u have your amp/amps set. Personally, if cash isnt an option, get Boston subs or JL audio. I have dual kicker amps and they really are top notch, id recommend them also, but they are pricey. Hope that helps.
