this was helpful for getting it off, but now how the hell do i get the boot back on the clip,my hands barely fit as it is. i couldn't get the plug out, just too tight of a space, so instead of trying to find a good place to run the speakerwire i kinda stuffed it in the square cut out i hope i won't have vibration wear problems. but now i can't get the boot over it. tips?

you gotta work it like you own it. I will tell you to be carefull if it is not completely back inside and seated. I remember seeing an installer one time not seat one correctly and it worked its way back out. When it did come back out it became stuck between the front of the door and the front fender. The lady that owned the car wondered why the door was a little hard to open, so she forced it open and when she did she wrinkled the front of the door on the hrns.

I took the door right off. Was real easy then to get the boot back on. Removing the door and putting it back took about 15 minutes. I fought with that stinking boot for over half an hour before I gave up..
