Is there any antenna for the Mustang GT 06 that automatic goes up when driving and down when engine is shot off. If not I have see here some where a link to a blog where a Mustang own has shorten the original antenna, but i can not find it.

Can't help you with the motorized antenna, but all you need to shorten it is some pliers, a Dremel, and maybe some Gorilla Glue.

Pull the little ball off the end of the antenna with the pliers, shorten it to the desired length by using a cutting wheel on the Dremel, then stick the little ball back on the antenna mast...use the glue if needed.

Why Ford hasn't gone with the "mastless" radio antenna yet is beyond me.

they make shortys for fox bodys so im sure they make them for yours to just google it.

an antenna is not just a piece of wire, it is actually a highly tuned instrument. Cutting and shortening it will effect reception, and can burn out the tuner in the radio as well.

I am not aware of anyone that makes a power ant for that car, but you could adapt one if you are creative.
