Where to install line driver
I picked up a small TLD-22 line driver from Phoenix Gold, and was wondering where I should install it. Also, do I tap power for the line driver from the head unit's harness cables?

you want it as close to your source as possible to keep from amplifying noise that it has picked up prior to the line driver. You should be fine hooking it up to the same source as the deck. Let me know if you blow a fuse with it on and we can fix that.
I put mine under the passenger seat. Doesn't get any feeback at all.
As for power, I actualy tapped the power from the buttons on the lower dash under the radio - floor lights, traction control, and defogger. I have a few different things hooked up to those, and they seem to be a great source of power. I have not blown a single fuse yet.

tap into your ignition or remote wire, mount it near your deck. line drivers are great for the 8volt signal, but do you know if your amp will take an 8 volt signal? a lot of amps cut out above 5 volts.
yet meaning keep adding things to those circuits.
double dog dare ya...
If you have too many things and you are worried about overloading a circuit, then let us know and we can show you how to properly use a relay to fix this.
