Hey ttocs, thats for your smartass reply. Give me your address and I will make sure I deliver it myself in person. Already checked the manual, look at yours and tell me what you find.

The manual in for my 94 doesn't mention anything about headphones, but it does mention that there is an option to upgrade from the cassete to the cd or even to minidisk but we didn't get that option...

Ok, all jokes aside is it below a small headphone looking jack on the radio? That is so you can play an mp3 player with a headphone to headphone jack available at electronics stores.

No there is no headphone jack .

Thats what bugs me so much. I cant find out anything about that symbol. I have researched the net for quite a while. I have read the manual from front to back and there is nothing on display symbols. I recently had my battery go dead and my radio did all sorts of weird things, turning on and off . Now I noticed that damn 'headphone looking thingy' on my display and I dont know what its represents. Just bugging me. It is right next the the 'ST' sysmbol, I know that means wheather its is in stereo or not.

there is probably somebody at the dealership that has a stang and knows about the factory system. The only question we normally get is how to take it out when the changer breaks.

It's not a headphone symbol, it's a telephone symbol I believe for blue tooth or something

so your driving down the road listening to the radio ,,, and your phone rings,,,,, you push the phone button on the radio and this is a quick way to mute the radio so when you answer the phone in your pocket you can hear the people on the phone -----instead on pushing the volume button for 5 seconds to turn the radio down and then answering the phone---and when your done talking on the phone ,,you hit the phone button again and the volume goes back up to ware it was --------thats all it does
