I have 1 Coustic 10" dual voice CF1044 and as far as i'm concerned for the price it pounds and is more than enough bass for the size of car a Mustang is. Put it in a proper box and it's by far the best bang for the buck.

I voted for the Alpine subs. Just as a side note im going to be selling all my stereo equipment soon as im not going to be putting it into the mustang. I wont have the exact model number till sunday though. Everything is stuck in storage.

4 Alpine 12" Type-R DVC's
Alpine Head Unit-CD
1 4 Channel Alpine V12 Expert Amp
1 2 Channel Alpine V12 Expert Amp (1000 Watt)
1 2 Channel Alpine V12 Expert Amp
1 Set Boston Acoustics 3 Ways - I think there 5.5 or 6 inch. Cant remember
1 Set Boston Acoustics Door speakers, they were components but I forgot to get the crossovers out of the doors before I treded car in [:@] - 5.25 I think
Plus a bunch of other stuff thats just laying around that I just never even opened.

Im not sure if im going to parting the stuff out or sell it as a whole just yet. If anyone here is interested in anything maybe we can work out some sort of deal. Would love to sell it all at once though.

Nothing but JL Audio sub woofers for me. I have 2 10" JLs, 2 Boston 5X7's, coustic amp, and panasonic head unit. I also put in a **** load of insulation from Hushmat in the trunk to get rid of the vibration. I don't have anymore vibration, do you guys have problems with your trunk vibrating and the cardboard above the stock 5X7's vibrating against the back window.

I have had my fair share of subwoofers and speakers. I STAND FIRMLY behind JL audio. W3's are a good bang for the buck if you arnt serious and W6v2 and w7's are if ur serious about ur music. 10's for ur rock, punk etc.... 12's for your jazz, rap, hip-hop, or combine em' and spooge. If you just want something cheap and clear Alpine Kappa Perfects get the job done, just dont feel it in ur chest like a JL though.

Wow..I feel old ...Lanzar and Cerwin Vega used to be top dogs (late 80-s to mid 90s). Back then, JL Audio and Kicker were just upstarts....

Sony has never been great at speakers. Even their home audio stuff is mediocre. Pioneer...pass for subs.
