This is the first time I have heard of somebody else doing 4 8's, thought I was the only one.......

We will need to know more about the speakers to recommend an amp or how to wire them. We will need the model number to know the impedence/voice coil config to give recommendations.

Those subs have a DVC with RMS power range of 50-200 watts each. are the voice coils wired in series or parallel?

wire them in a series/parallel combo to get them at 2 ohms. and get an 800 watt (rms) mono amp to match at 2 ohms.

check this out for the wiring for the subs. dont do .5 ohms (nothings stable there)and 8 ohms is alot an you wont see as much power as 2 ohms.

I think he wants a stereo setup instead of a mono so he can have a left and right chanel.

wire them like this

Option 2 (parallel/series) = 4 ohm load
Voice coils wired in parallel, speakers wired in series
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 4, 2, or 1 ohm mono

If your going to go mono run the subs parallel and do this:

Option 2 (series/parallel) = 2 ohm load
Voice coils wired in series, speakers wired in parallel
Recommended Amplifier: Stable at 2 or 1 ohm mono

after that get a 200 to800 watt RMS at 2 ohmsmono(1 channel) amp.
