Ok, so i got a new head unit a while back in my 2000 mustang gt. this means i took the stock cd player out so now i have a gaping hole where it used to go. so here is the question. do y'all think that a piece of black diamond plate would look ok there? or maybe just a piece of black sheet metal? i wanna put some toggle switches in there that are hooked up to my foglights, headlights, and t/c maybe. what do you all think?

Yeah that toggle switch idea sounds good.

Or You could ditch the new cd player for a double din.

I made a plexi cover and used it as a voltage/power display myself. I made the plexi by cutting out the rough shape and then sanding it to get the perfect shape. You can do the same thing with the materials you described. What else would the black diamond plate match? I like to try and keep everything on the same idea so I used smoked plexi and painted all my dash pieces mith a smooth black laquer to match.
