Nice. What linux front end did you use? Also, where did you mount the motherboard/hdd? Did you build a SSF case for it or did you take the bottom half of a laptop? Iv been wanting to do something like this..

see here for the guy that did it first he makes a case that conforms to fords Double din standard
im using windows with a front end called roadrunner that ties gps winamp etc together and has user made skins for it

im using a msi fuzzy g945 mini-itx board with a moble core2duo intel cpu 2gig of ram and a 320g laptop harddrive.

this computer in all in the dash except for the amp thats driving the speakers. so if you didnt know better you would thinks is a oem nav system

its on par with the shaker system, tho not as loud because im using the computers onboard volume, and had to balance the inputs from the hdradio and sirius, the way i have it set up now you can turn it all the way up and not make your ears bleed, my main focus was not to have a loud system just one that comapred to the stock radio and had all the functions i wanted. im currently looking at adding tpms monitoring to the computer so i can see the tire pressure and temps on my computer.

I just take the face off and don't have to worry about it. I understand the two switches but what is the other part that was cut out unevenly? A file is great for the final finishing to even up the cuts.
