cool idea , i saw a vw tourag or something along that line yeaserday at work and it had a little bose sub box like the size of a six pack, and it fit underneath the spare tire and it sounded very good.

i'm planning on doing that soon as part of my "fix up the interior project" i'm planning on using wood instead. don't want to mess with fiberglass. how much airspace do you have? 10" subwoofer? 12"? single or dual? lets see some pics!

i used wood to cover it then glassed it in for strength. it's not tuff and will make it strong *** hell and hit hard. i used (1) 15" soundstream spl 160. it's 1000 watts and feels like it. i built the box up so i;m guesstimating 1.5 - 2 cubic feet but i put hella pillow guts in it to help it out. as soon as i figure out how i will download some pics.

i used mdf and glassed 6" of the edge of the wood and 6" of the car floor. i alos glassed the inside holes to seal them up.the back where the hatch closes is tough cause theres a metal support preventing the wood from sitting flush i shaved a little off and was good to go.
