06' Shaker 500 pause between songs?
Hi,
I have an 06' V6 vert w/ Shaker 500. Unit is OK (teeny am/fm, cd buttons! no dedicated bass/treble buttons!) but I've noticed peculiar behavior. When I play songs recorded as a one hour mix (but with individual song tracks) the player will add a pause between the tracks. No other unit I have played these discs on do that!
Really annoying as I enjoyDJ mixes alot. Any way to tell the Shaker 500 (WHO makes it anyway?) to NOT pause between tracks? It doesn't matter if the tracks are in CD audio (like a store-bought CD) or mp3 files.
Any advice would be appreciated.

it is just as easy to fix as any other option on the factory radio, all you have to do is replace it. Ford cd players have been doing this at least since 97 when I bought my ranger new with a factory cd player.
Good news is that the average length of time that a ford factory cd player lasts is about 3 weeks past the warrenty period and the cost of a better aftermarket single disk player(that will no jam) is alot less then the price of even a used shaker deck.
