Default MACH Stereo system w/ subs

I was reading a few places that you cannot use your MACH stero headunit if you want to get subs because the power just isn't there.... Is this true? Anyway I can get around it WITHOUT having to change my MACH stereo system because I just want a small 10=p im not goin crazy with a box in my trunk.

you can add a sub to any system, as long as you have an amp to power it and I don't mean factory amp. You can add a self amplified system such as a bass link or amplified bazooka to suppliment the factory system.

Yes you can work around it. Something like the basslink or similiar will work as ttocs stated. You can also get a LOC, an amplifier, a subwoofer, an enclosure and an amplifier wiring kit and go that route.
