I got a 99 GTand was wondering how to remove the the plastic piece around the head unit i know there's two bolt's i took those off but i didn't know how to remove it, i am afraid its going to brake. What is the proper way of removing it?

Once you slide the deck out, there is the support bracket has those two bolts in it. After you have those bolts out, you just need to pull on it. I always pull at the bottom and work my way up.
