ok well i got a 94 gt with the mach 460 system. i cant afford to rewire the whole car right now so i decided to stick with the 460 system for a while.

basically when i got the car its been making this noise. the guy said he thoguht it was a grounding issue btu all the grounds seem fine.

i get this very random (kinda sounds like a weird fart)

maybe you guys can help me out.

its the random noise you hear through out the video. its not bass cause the volume could be like all the way down and itll still do it.

does it come from all of the speakers? subs, tweets, front rear?

 

yeah, i noticed yesterday that at higher volume it doesnt make the sound.

if it is comming from all the speakers then it has to be comming from the head unit. It could be as simple as a grounding issue but I bet if you pull the deck out there will bea wire mess that somebody tried to put back together before they sold it.

 

actually all the wiring is still factory and in great shape. the crimp on the ground terminals were kinda loose so i did pinch them together to make it snug on the stereo.

 

there should be no factory crimp on ground terminals that I can remember......... Can you take a pic of the wiring?

 

sorry its not a crimp like on a butt connector. its the terminal thats on the ground on the back of the factory head unit. i tightened that up cause it was loose.
