Default need help with GPS wire

I picked up a new GPS unit and I want to route the cable out of the way.

I don't want to tear the dash apart or anything like that since the unit will move between vehicles. Not often but I still don't want to have to go through a huge hassle when moving it.

Anyway, I found a decent route for it that is discreet enough but now I can't figure out how to hold it in place.

HEre's the general way it will be routed.

I need ideas on how to hold it in place without it looking absolutely horrible or doing any damage to the dash pieces.

Any ideas?

I have to chuckle a little bit that you are worried about that little bitty thin wire, right next to the coiled power wire to the radar detector.............

for a temporary job like this I like to use bubble gum, big leage chew sticks the best.

Yea, I know, I am alot of help huh? I really don't know what to tell you though to be honest. Can ya run it down the center of the coiled power wire?

Yeah I guess that is kinda funny when I think about it.

The radar detetor plugs in right there so that wire doesn't really bother me or get in the way.
The GPS wire plugs into the secondary power outlet in the center console and my car is a manual.

So wire dangling across the center and shifting become troublesome.

I think I'll skip the big league chew though.
