Default aftermarket wiring, new system = problems...help?!

I bought this car two months ago, I have not had a radio or anything this whole time and it has been getting to me. It came with the stock deck, aftermarket speakers, but was wired to run the deck and speakers off of an amp. I have since tried installing my deck and amp out of my old car. I have never installed an amp, nor do I remember how it came out. I did however install the deck in my fox body, and it worked fine. Except it was using a harness kit. Now, I have rca cables, and grounds, and remote this and power cable that. Long story short. What color wire should go to what to power my amp and how does the deck receive its power? I currently only have the deck hooked up to rca cables, the antenna, and a red wire I thought was the power wire...ideas? Fuse is good. Plus, I also need help on how to bridge my speakers to my amp, I currently only have a front set of speakers installed, but I have a complete replacement set for front and rear ready to put in. My amp however is a 2/1 channel vpower alpine mono amp. Alpine deck, I think Jl's in the doors right now, and I have a full set of alpine type r components that will be installed later.

Did the car have the mach 460 stereo in it before(look at the mirrors for tweeters)? Are there hrns's in the dash or have they been cut? there should be a set of hrns's in the car that look exactly like the ones in your fox. There is a grey hrns and a black one. They are both 8 pin hrns's but only one will have 8 wires in it(the speaker hrns).

Yes. It did. The old amplifiers were taken out though. There are still harnesses in behind where the stereo was. I have the 2 harnesses that are like from my fox and then like 2-3 other small connector/harness like things. Do I still need to use the old harnesses or just the rca cables and antenna plug? Where does the deck get its power from, etc...?

check out page 2 of my cardomain page and it will show you what to do then. If you have the hrns's from the fox body on there you will be set up just fine then. You will need to connect to the bypass hrns that I point to on page 2 with the black 8 pin hrns you should already have wired up. Do you know if the door woofers have been changed out?

Yea, the door speakers are aftermarket. Thats why I have RCA cables too. I think the problem is in trying to find power. I have 2 currently fused connections goign to the battery that have black wires. But I also have 2 other red wires with no fuses that are disconnected near the battery. I have 2 diff red wires in the trunk. But when I connected the two wires...I still got no power to my amp. Is it maybe because the remote wire and 8 pin connectors was not connected to my deck? I just had the amp hooked up.

Well tomorrow came and left, i am too freaking busy. I do not think even if I took pictures you would understand the depth of the ghettoness of this install, there are wires for wires that dont go to other wires. I am just taking it someone who can tangibly touch look and test the freaking thing on Saturday. 25 bucks. Thanks, if I have any more problems I will let you know ttocs. Thanks again.
