Hello all,

I have been out of the audio game for a little bit now and I have a question. I have been looking into a double din DVD h/u and I think I might go with one of the popular Pioneer AVIC series.

But here is my question, the radio is for my ladys Pre-Runner and she loves her Ipod classic w/ video and I know everone and there brother makes an interface to control the Ipod, but is there any radio or interface that will x-fer the video to the screen? This would be sweet and very handy. It doesn't have to be a Pioneer, I just like the features I see so far, I am open to all!

 

I know the AVIC-F900BT plays MP4 from USB, so I would assume that would include the iPod video.

 

I shall ask on the AVIC forums, but I think I remember them saying that it doesnt support Ipod videos, only music. That is why I was asking if there were any other radios that would. Because the little lady would love to have that function.

For my car, I think I will do a Pioneer AVIC and use the usb function with a large drive

 

The AVIC-D3 only worksfor older model ipods.

 

double din: avic-d3 does do video but the older models do not(avic-d1,d2). The brand new pioneer double dins avic-f900ft, f700 too. Kennwood's new screens will do video and there nav is alot better then the D3 bc kenwood uses garmin for there nav. With the kenwood you just have to buy the kenwwod ipod cable that will do video, kenwood sales 2 different cables one for video and one that is non video.
