NO it will not fit going throught the trunk lid opening, well i take that back yes but you have to pull the spare tire out then try to fit it in there plus they get the carpet and the spare tire back in. Have fun with that.

Do you have the mach 460?

Well what you can do is pull the bottom of the back seat out, they unbolt the back of the back seats. That should let you slide the box in throught the back seat opening in side the car.

Not too bad if you reach your hand under the bottom of the back seat there will be a white(clear) botton that you push to release the bottom of the seat. Then if you have it unbolt the headrest part on the back seat, fold the back seat down, andthere are 3 5/16 bolts there if you have the head rest part.
I for get the size and how many but there should be a couple big bolts that hold the back seat part on and after you pull that out it will open and you should be able to slide that box right in.

Dynamat First before you put the subs in. It is alot easlier to dynamatwithout alot crap in your way back there.

you will save yourself alot of trouble if you get two, single 12" boxes. You can load them from teh back one at a time, then screw them together to make one box and then mount your subs in them.

honestly your just wasting your time with that i would have just gotten 10 inch type r's cause there not gonna sound any different and they will look better in that trunk cause if you get those 12 inch ones in its gonna look like a fat guy in a little coat.

Honestly 2 12s will hit alot louderthen 2 10s. 12s will hit those lower freq. alot better then 10s will. I have 10s bc i listen to all types of music. If you listen to alot of rap and want to be heardthen 12s will let you be heard 3 miles down the road. Yes 12s will like huge in the back of a mustang bc how big the trunk is but i have done 2 15s in a mustang before if you want to talk about a "fat guy in a little coat".

Back to the question at hand. I would atleast dynmat the trunk lid, the rear deck where the rear speakers are mounted, the floor, well hell do the sides too, so i guess the whole trunk. It isbetter if you do it the the first time instead of having to pull everything back out and dynmatting more.

Bc im sure that box wasnt fun to get in. Did you get the box in?

suprisingly the box was easy as hell to put in i had to take out the carpeting and spare and angeled it in then i had to slide the carpeting underneath it and was able to squeeze the spare back in.. the only promble is that the jack that goes with the spare didnt fit but overall it was a success.

i dynamatted the entire trunk lid which made it sound a thousand times better and doesnt even look that bad and dynamatted under the spare and inside of the trunk opposit the license plate. i could post pics if u want i think it turned out nice
