I'm in need to accessing the wires that go to the map lights of my 2006 GT. They need to be accessed under the passenger and driver side seats. I know it'd be possible to splice into the wire in the map light housing and run it down the trim, but is there any easier way to do it?

Right. generally, any time the map lights are on.

i have the same exact setup as you, honestly i forgot which color i spliced into, but its very easy, one for the post, and one for the ground...

I don't have wire colors for an 06....
