I have two alpine 6x8 in the front and 1000w kenwood pushing two kenwood 10s in the back
i want to bridge another amp for my fronts and i want to know how to use the low pass and high pass filters

would i turn the low pass filter on the amp for my subs and just turn the high pass filter on on the amp for my fronts or what?

Default RE: Amp Help

Yes low pass for the subs and high pass or all pass fliter(off) for your mid and highs.

Low pass does just what it sounds like puts lower freq. to the subs(BASS) and there should be a control nobon the amp so you can change what freq. any where from 200 all the way down to maybe 20. Turn that *** will let you tell the amp from what freq. and down you want the subs to have.

Same goes for the high pass filter. But the control *** on the high pass willlet you tell the amp from whatfreq. and up will go to your mids and highs.

If your amp has an all pass or where you can turn the filter off this will let all freq. to go to your mids and highs.
