Default Alpine System

I have a 2000 Ford Mustang GT 5 Speed. It has the Mach audio system..

I recently had a 12" Alpine Type X 1243D subwoofer installed in my car, paired with a Alpine 9887 Headunit, and a Alpine PDX 1.1000 Amplifier. The subwoofer only fits in the trunk ONE way, and had to be assembled in the trunk for it to fit.. and now I am looking to sell it. I was wondering if it's possible to just take out the subwoofer, and keep the Class D amplifier all hooked up? And how much it should cost to have it professionally done.

Also, as far as speaker are concerned... the stock speaker in the kicker panels and the rear speaker (and the tweeters too) SUCK!! I am going ALL alpine here.. how difficult is it to install Alpine tweeters, and the front and rear speakers? Does Alpine make a kit like this?

Thanks guys!!

you can take the sub out and just disconnect it, be sure to insulate the ends of the wire. I don't know why you would take a $150 sub out and leave a $400 amp but.........

The stock speaker location is in the lower door, the kick panels are the part by your feet below the glove box. Alpine componants are ok, but there are better for the $$$. The stock tweeter is 2.5" and nobody makes a kit that fits a tweeter that big but it is easy to make something fit because it is soo big.

Well, I just want to be able to have good speaker components all around without the subwoofer, and be able to crank the music as loud as I am able to now (just no subwoofer)
