After taking apart my dash doing work on my car i noticed the people who installed my radio forgot or lost some of the screws for my dash and had a different type of screw in the hole instead that i could not get to go back in right. Can someone tell me what kind of screw i need to get for a 2007 mustang that screws in the front ac panel that goes around the radio. Thanks

 

they are round, and black. they tighten when you turn them to the right, not sure about when you turn to the left though....

 

are they sheet metal screws? I tried all sorts of other ones and they wont work.

 

There a 9/32(7mm) bolt, but the thread size I dont know sorry.

 

sheet metal screws are for sheet metal.....

 

well ttocs, that makes sense then considering embedded in the dash are small pieces of sheet metal that the screws go in allowing one panel to mate to another one. Thank you for your comment Mr. Obvious
