Looking for some bass
I'm looking to get a subwoofer or two to get a little more bass..but I don't want to spend much money. Maybe ~$400, which I know isn't very much talking about systems but I don't have much to spend. I was looking at the Bazooka packages with two 10's, box, and amp. Also saw the MTX package with two 12's, box, and amp.
Are either of those any good? Anyone else have input on a cheap sub/amp/box set up? I don't want crazy amounts of bass but I'd like a little more than I have now with my Pioneer speakers.
I could probably build a box on my own, and do the wiring, speaking of which, how much is wiring for 1 or 2 subs and an amp?

If your looking for a little more bass i went with two Rockford Fosgate punch P3 subs, i know 8's sound small but these are a higher output and they put out a good amount of bass and they don't take up much trunk space. with a stardard box you can run 8's or 10's, but the 10's are wedged in there pretty tight.
Yeah I built a sealed enclousre for 1-8" infinity for my buddy's cobra and it hit. I was surpised on the amount of bass we got from that single 8". I believe it digital design they have an 8" woofer that will blow alot 10s and 12s out of the water and it can hit get those low low notes good.
i got a fusion encounter 12" with a box, 300 watt amp, and install kit for $300 and it sounds really good for a cheapish sub
you could prolly get a Powerplant series kit for around 400-500 which would really hit

Bazooka not the greatest but to get alittle more low range you cant bet a bazooka tube. Bc it takes up very little room and it is quick to disconnect it you race it and dont want the extra wieght. Its amp/sub/enclousre all in one. And there not too expense of.
Come to think of it is Bazooka still around bc i havent seen one come into my shop in years.
