Should work but the only thing is how you will mount the deck in there. On your factory dash the radio was held in with the ford clips, well on the 01-04 there is no for ford clips. The radio has a mounting bracket on the bottom of the factory deck that mounts with 2- 9/32(7mm) bolts to the mount behind the dash.

Go to http://metraonline.com/fit.aspx and search for this part number 95-5026 this is the kit you need for a double din. You will see that there are mounts on the bottom for those bolts. You will have to make some sort of mount to get the new radio to work in there. About 4 1/2 years ago my car was broken into and the aftermarket deck was stolen and the factory mounts on the were broken, so I had to make my own mount to get the new radio in there.
