i was on ebay looking for stuff my car and saw a ad for rear seat delet kits and was wondering how good they would for a speaker box.... i need room for 2 10"s and an amp do you think they will fit.... i think i can find pix if you need to see thanks for the input.....

 

I am slightly confused. Do you want to put speakers where the seats used to be or put speakers in the trunk? Or are you wanting to somehow try to use the seat delete kit as part of your speaker box? I am not bashing you for your verbage ( though I usually do ) but this sentence is kind of hard to understand:

 

I want to know if it is at all possible to make the delet kit into a box....or if not should i just mount a box on top of it not in the trunk in the area that the seats used to fill...... sorry for the confusion

 

Yeah you can but it will sound like crap! Just make a box that forms a wall in your trunk so theres no space that way it will look clean and will give you the same look without getting rid of your seats... like this, this is a custom setup that I made for my friends lancer...I am going to do the same thing for my car in the summer when I have more time, I am also going to keep the seats and have the amp like this when I fold them down... (I didn't do this one found it on crutchfield)

the only prob is i dont know what to do it is for a 83 hatch backand i want to save as much storage area as i can....
