+1 Check the gain setting on the amp. Also, are you using preamps from the headunit or are you using line level from the head unit with a line level adapter? If you're using the adapter check that gain first. Could also be on its way out.

the gains on both amps are at the minimum setting, but the thing is it has just started doing this recently, or if was from the gains it would start from day one. since im at school i cant really go and rip the car apart and find out what the problem really is, so i have to wait for the weekend,

thanks for all who tried to help lol

any other ideas?
