I just picked up the 3G iPhone. Looking for a way so I can play the music from my phone through the stereo in the car. What is everyone using?

Well I just got my 2007 Mustang and there's an Auxillary Jack with the Shaker 500 in the console. You just get a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable and plug it into the jack and the headphone jack on the iPhone 3G. Because it's the 3G you don't need a special adapter.

 

That is what I got. I know there were cheaper ones out there, I picked up the one from Monster Cable. It works great

 

Glad to hear it. I haven't tried my 3G iPhone with the car yet, I just keep an old 30GB video iPod in there, I figure I'll never have to store any CDs in the car ahaha :-P

 

isimple make an ipod interface for the new mustangs about $150. You can have it display on the radio display or control it from the ipod. With the Iphone if you can control it throught the radio where it diplays on the radio display it will put the iphone in airplane mode.
