Default Best hitting subs for S197 mustang?

I'm looking for some good 6x9 speakers and some good subs for my 2006 GT. Right now I've only got a deck. Any recomendations? I want good sound quality and great overall bass, interior and from the outside. Post pictures/setups if you have them. I've only heard one pair of subs in the S197 so far, and they don't really bump from the outside. They were l7's i believe.

Thanks in advance.

who cares what it sounds like from the outside as long as it doesnt rattle like crazy. bottom line is its your car, and your stereo. get a nice head unit (the pioneer avic series are very popular), if you want more bass, ive seen people putting different woofers in the door locations. and if you need even more bass and want to go crazy, do the rear seat delete kit and put some crazy woofers and big amps where the back seat was.

I will have 2 Pioneer 12" in mine here in a few weeks after my brother and I finish building the custom boxes. I'm using the Mach 460 system for my interior speakers/tweeters and they sound great! Also going to re hook up the 2 Mach 460 10". I'll post pics of the trunk when we get the boxes in!

my only advise on building a 12" box is make sure th at it will fit through the whole..... it is hard to fit a dual 12 through that opening.

I'm building 2 single boxes, that way if I need a little more trunk room I can take one out

I have one Elemental Designs 13Kv.2 Subwoofer and i love it. i built a 1cF Sealed box for it but it takes up a little to much room so i am going to build another one. I put that in the trunk along with a bunch of 2nd skin audio damplifier and i think it sounds pretty good.
