Default Stock amp but no subwoofer? 01 Cobra

Ok, so don't know if this is standard in the GT's, but apparently my car comes with stock amps? I was wondering what these things were up in my trunk, but I didn't really get too close to look at them. They look like this

My question is, when I go to put my sub/s in, will I need another amp? I'm looking at 1 or 2, 10 inch subs. Will I need to get rid of these or what? Anyone ever done this before?

No stock amp will handle an aftermarket subwoofer.

That's what I bought at wal-mart. What kind of amp do I need? As in how many watts or what channel or whatever I'm not too smart in this type of area

A 2 channel amp will be just fine... one channel per sub. You don't need a really powerful amp because your subs won't handle it. but they should hit pretty hard. I have 1 12 in the trunk and it rounds out my system nicely.

ok so a 60-70 dollar pioneer sub is crap? I'm not asking for the best system out there, just some nice hitting bass

hiss hates almost everything, and almost everyone............

Pioneer subs are never going to be considered the best, nor the worst but for future reference buying your car audio at walmart is not the best idea.
