Type S alpine's are not bad. The thing that sucks about the Mach system is that they have their own seperate tweeters, so the door speakers play mostly bass and midrange-no high's. So, if you switch out the door speakers, they will sound almost the same bacause the Type S's will only be playing bass and some midrange too. So, you won't hear the apline's tweeters unless you completely rewire the system so that you bypass the mach amp and play a full range of music to those speakers. The same goes for the rear speakers. So, yes the alpine's are good speakers, but, no, you won't really notice a difference unless your speakers are blown right now. They will sound about the same if you change them. Don't waste the money.
