Default new system

I have an extra $600 lying around. I want a new system for my '05 stang but don't feel like installing it myself. Can anyone recommend a place that will install it cheap and do a good job.

Also if you want to suggest components that would be great too. I only have $600 for all of it so keep that in mind. Also I just need cd, mp3, am/fm radio, and an ipod connector. But if you think I have enough money than I would like a sub in the trunk.

I have a shaker 500 system. Thanks.

You my friend are on a very little budget if you have to also pay someone to install. A deck - components - and a sub = plus wire, sub amp, component amp, box, dash kit..etc

Also, cheap and do a good job is rare.. There are plenty of street installers that'll do it on the cheap for sure...good is something else... I'm gonna be real with you and tell you I didn't even start to get "good" until I did over 30 systems, took some classes and read 20 books or so from ohms law to carpentry, fiberglassing, duraglassing and more...

My advice pit is to think about what you want the final outcome of your system to eventually be. Then by a deck that will accomodate that system and that also has all your media requirements. Have that installed for now. You will gain audio improvement from that alone that will satisfy you immediately. Then put aside the rest of the money and save until you can do the components and then onto the sub(s). The deck market has alot to offer. Kenny

Just buy a deck and an ipod connecter for now.

Get it installed, and then save money for the rest.

You will be satisfied with a nice Eclipse or Pioneer deck.

I'm a pioneer fan so I will reccomend the FH-P800BT. Nice unit and should cost less than half of what you have to spend which should get you some installation at a decent place. Then just save for the next upgrade.
