nothing wrong with drilling a hole for the power wire, just if you do not use a grommet and protect your wire.

looke like you ported your one woofer? not the box but the woofer(Tape)?

hows it sound?

i got this protecting thing that covers the wire inside the hood and the hole is too tight to let water in. the reason i got tape is because when i had my frist accedint somehow the sub got cracked at that part so i just glued it and my friend put a tape on it but it sounds the same nothing wrong with it

the tape is just adding mass to the woofer and probably not necessary if you added a dab of glue. The speaker probably had something bounce off of it in the accident, a $10 grill could save you some trouble.

looks decent i would clean up the wires. and seriously get rid of the cap. all it does is add resistance and take away power from your amp.

learn how to do the big 3 and your voltage should be good
you should get those subs in a ported box. output would increase a decent amount.
if you need help designing a box for those let me know. i would be glad to help

Yeah I agree....Here's a car audio saying "Get rid of the cap ASAP"

You my friend definitely don't need one. As TC3 above me pointed out ..do your grounding kit, there is even a nice write up ^^^^ in the sticky section walking you right through the process.
