Default Another Mach 460 thread =(

Ok guys i know I have to re wire. Best buy said around 250 bucks. I was just wondering are there subs in the mach 460 soound system i have a 2000 Gt hard top. And if they re wire if there are subs in the stock setup can i keep them or do i loose them with the re wire. Thank so much by.

There will be a lot less bass because they are rewiring. They are bypassing the stock amps completely and all your speakers will be running off of the headunit alone. You will want to get a sub and a good amp to supply for bass if you want to make it sound better.

Yeah, way less power overall is going to be driving your set up. You can decide to run an aftermarket 4 channel, but you might as well run new speakers at the same time. Your door speakers are your "subs" and then you have your door tweeters for highs. You won't lose any speakers if they rewire it right. I've done a bunch of them and as long as they do it right, it will sound okay.
