Default Any recomenfdations on a stereo?

Im new to the car world and i want to put an aftermarket stereo in my mustang because the factory one skips on the cd's really bad....give me some ideas of a good stereo and a good amp and sub setup...also how hard would it be for myself to install all those things?

install is a fairly easy diy depending on mach or non-mach. I cover the mach integration on page 2 of my cardomain page.

if your looking a little cheaper. I have a 2 10" Bazooka subs/box/amp combo, and they hit great in my car. I have a Pioneer head unit

I have bought plenty of used gear and had good luck with them. You have to know what you are looking at, know a good tech that can fix it if it does break but most of the gear you buy online has no warrenty anyway... As long as the price is right, I got both of my diamond audio amps in my stang used for a hell of a deal.
